The Audio-Technica ATW-1421 System 20 PRO Dual Bodypack Wireless System includes an ATW-R1440 rack-mount receiver chassis, an ATW-RU14 receiver unit, four 2.4 GHz antennas, an AC adapter, rackmount/joining plate adaptors, and two ATW-T1401 body-pack transmitters.
The Audio-Technica ATW-1421 System 20 PRO Dual Bodypack Wireless System provides high-quality 24-bit/48 kHz digital wireless operation in the 2.4 GHz range. This system delivers dependable performance by operating completely free from TV interference. The ATW-1421 configuration includes the ATW-R1440 receiver chassis and two ATW-T1401 body-pack transmitters to support dual-channel wireless requirements.
This system offers plug-and-play operation with two specialized modes to suit different environment needs. Users can select Standard mode for 10-channel operation with minimized latency or HD mode to maximize the channel count to 20 channels. For secure transmissions, the system utilizes AES128 encryption and supports the Syslog protocol for comprehensive device logging.
The ATW-R1440 half-rack receiver chassis allows for flexible installation. The receiver units can be docked directly in the chassis or mounted remotely up to 328 feet away using an Ethernet cable. For larger deployments, up to five chassis can be linked and operated simultaneously. The chassis features a System ID Display that provides critical real-time data, including:
The ATW-T1401 body-pack transmitters feature water- and sweat-resistant cW-style locking 4-pin connectors. This design ensures a secure connection to compatible lavalier microphones, headworn microphones, and cables. Each transmitter includes an OLED screen for clear readouts of settings and alerts. To simplify workflows, each receiver channel can pair with up to four transmitters, allowing users to switch between different configurations instantly. The transmitters also feature integrated charging terminals compatible with ATW-CHG3/ATW-CHG3a and ATW-CHG3N/ATW-CHG3Na charging docks for use with NiMH batteries.
The ATW-1421 is compatible with Audio-Technica’s Wireless Manager software, enabling centralized management of system settings and the ability to save device configurations as projects. An auto-lock function is included to prevent unintended power-offs or accidental changes to the channel selection. For setups with limited hardware, the system supports mixed output to consolidate audio signals.
