The N-ear Protectr utilizes biocompatible and irritation-free Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs), the same material used in artificial body parts. This construction ensures long-term comfort and prevents skin irritation during extended use. The universal design includes small, medium, and large foam ear tips to accommodate different ear shapes, while an integrated ear fin securely anchors the mold in place to prevent shifting during activity.
Designed to safeguard hearing while preserving auditory clarity, these ear molds allow for 360-degree situational hearing awareness. The firmer lower half of the Protectr housing is engineered to hold certified sound filters, protecting the user from harmful noise levels while maintaining environmental awareness. The upper portion of the housing features a 20% softer rubber to enhance the feel against the ear.
The PUM-2 model introduces structural improvements for better performance and reliability. A firmer housing stabilizes the ear tip, and the Screw N-ear Tip design allows expandable foam ear tips to screw firmly onto the housing for a secure connection. Additionally, the N-ear Protectr platform allows users to change the tech unit at any time. By pulling the unit away from the earmold housing, users can switch to optional setups, including communication systems, to meet diverse audio requirements.
