The Audio-Technica PRO70 Cardioid Condenser Lavalier/Instrument Microphone is a cardioid condenser microphone designed for use as a lavalier or instrument microphone.
The Audio-Technica PRO70 Cardioid Condenser Lavalier/Instrument Microphone delivers full-sounding pickup and outstanding consistency. This miniature condenser microphone provides natural and articulate vocal reproduction and excels in the pickup of acoustic guitars. The PRO70 makes music and speech clearly audible while maintaining a low-profile appearance that does not draw attention to its operation.
A cardioid polar pattern reduces the pickup of sounds from the sides and rear to improve the isolation of the primary sound source. The microphone features a low-frequency roll-off switch to decrease the pickup of ambient room noise. These components work together to ensure clear audio capture in diverse recording and performance environments.
The versatile PRO70 operates on either battery or phantom power to accommodate different equipment configurations. A 6-foot (1.8 m) cable permanently connects the microphone to the power module. The power module uses a gold-plated XLRM-type connector to provide corrosion-resistant contacts and maintain signal integrity.
