The DS5 desk stand power module features a touch-sensitive capacitive-type user switch that provides local and remote switching options. The local switch operates in three distinct modes: touch-on/touch-off, touch-to-talk, and touch-to-mute. The integrated logic I/O capability allows the unit's external contact closure to trigger remote devices, such as cameras or lighting systems, directly from the microphone switch. For clear visual confirmation, both the desk stand and the microphone element housing include a highly visible, two-state RGB LED status indicator.
This microphone system utilizes UniGuard® RFI-shielding technology to provide outstanding immunity against radio frequency interference. The condenser microphone elements deliver full-range, natural sound with superior off-axis rejection, ensuring maximum gain before feedback. To maintain vocal clarity in challenging acoustic environments, the integral UniSteep® filter provides steep low-frequency attenuation.
