The Audio-Technica ATUC-IRDU IR Hybrid Discussion Unit provides a high-performance communication interface for the ATUC-IR infrared and wired hybrid discussion system. This unit facilitates seamless interaction in professional meeting environments by supporting dual-user operation and clear audio monitoring.

Dual-User Interface

The ATUC-IRDU features a design optimized for two participants, maximizing space and efficiency. It includes dual request-to-talk and mute buttons, granting both users equal control and access to the microphone. Integrated LED indicators provide immediate visual feedback on the unit status for both participants.

Audio Input and Monitoring

This discussion unit utilizes a 3-pin XLRF-type input for compatibility with ATUC-M43H, ATUC-M58H, and ATUC-M32L gooseneck microphones. For audio output, the device contains a built-in high-resolution speaker that ensures clear voice reproduction. Additionally, two 3.5 mm (1/8") headphone jacks with dedicated volume controls allow users to monitor the discussion privately.

Integrated Controls and Display

Participants can easily navigate settings using the monitor channel selection buttons. A built-in display screen shows the current channel and volume levels, providing essential information at a glance. These features ensure that users can adjust their local monitoring experience without interrupting the proceedings.

Flexible Power Management

The ATUC-IRDU offers multiple power configurations to suit different event lengths. It operates using one or two LI-240a lithium batteries. A single battery provides approximately 6.5 hours of use, while two batteries extend the runtime to approximately 13 hours. The unit also supports power via an AC adapter for continuous operation. Installation Versatility

Designed to fit various conference room layouts, the ATUC-IRDU supports two mounting styles. It functions as a standard tabletop unit for temporary or flexible setups. Alternatively, it supports recessed mounting for permanent, low-profile installations in boardroom furniture.
