The Audio-Technica ATND931A Cardioid Condenser Gooseneck Microphone with Dante Network Output Power Module provides a professional audio solution for installed applications via a Dante-enabled wall or ceiling plate.

The Audio-Technica ATND931A is a professional cardioid condenser gooseneck microphone designed for permanent installation in environments such as boardrooms, educational facilities, and houses of worship. This microphone system integrates directly into Dante networks through an included power module, facilitating high-quality audio capture for teleconferencing and government settings.
The system includes the ATND8734a wall/ceiling plate power module, which features a Dante network output and an RJ45 jack for connection via CAT5e or better cabling. It offers plug-and-play compatibility with AES67 networks, supporting Livewire, RAVENNA, and Q-LAN AoIP technologies. For enterprise-level management, the ATND931A supports Dante Domain Manager features, including role-based security, cross-subnet routing, and SNMP alerts. A logic input allows the connection of external switches directly to the Dante network for expanded control.
Equipped with a cardioid polar pattern, the ATND931A provides a 120° acceptance angle and superior off-axis rejection to maximize gain before feedback. The power module contains an 80 Hz UniSteep filter to provide steep low-frequency attenuation, which minimizes the pickup of undesired ambient noise. A three-position input gain level selector offers +30 dB, +40 dB, and +50 dB settings. Operators can remotely control the gain, filter, and the red/green LED status indicator via third-party software.
To ensure signal integrity, the microphone utilizes UniGuard RFI-shielding technology to reject radio frequency interference. The connection between the microphone and the power module uses a specialized TA3F-type connector designed specifically to optimize RFI immunity.
The microphone features a low-profile, small-diameter gooseneck that is rugged yet easy to adjust for precise positioning. The ATND8734a power module mounts securely in a standard metal U.S. 2-gang electrical box. The low-reflectance finish ensures minimal visibility in professional environments, making it suitable for high-profile installations.
The ATND931A includes a two-stage foam windscreen to reduce breath noise and plosives. While this model features a cardioid element, the system supports interchangeable elements—including omnidirectional (360°), hypercardioid (100°), and MicroLine (90°) options—to accommodate various acoustic requirements.
