Audio-Technica AT831B Cardioid Lavalier Condenser Microphone

The Audio-Technica AT831 Cardioid Condenser Lavalier Microphone is a versatile, clip-on solution engineered for high-fidelity audio capture. This microphone delivers crisp, full-bodied voice reproduction and performs exceptionally well as an instrument microphone, specifically for acoustic guitars. The cardioid polar pattern ensures superior background noise suppression and high gain before feedback, making it suitable for demanding acoustic environments.

Professional Audio Performance

Designed to handle higher Sound Pressure Levels (SPL), the Audio-Technica AT831 maintains clarity in loud applications. The condenser element provides the sensitivity required for professional recording and broadcast tasks. Each unit includes a windscreen to reduce breath and wind noise, along with a clothing clip for secure and discreet placement.

Versatile Applications

While primarily used for vocal pickup, the AT831 excels in instrument miking. It captures the natural resonance of acoustic guitars with precision. The wired AT831R configuration specifically includes the AT8444 guitar mount to facilitate optimal placement on the instrument.
