The AT5047 utilizes a unique four-part rectangular element consisting of four matched, ultra-thin 2-micron diaphragms. These components function together to provide a combined surface area twice that of a standard one-inch circular diaphragm. This design achieves Audio-Technica’s largest-ever element, resulting in extremely low noise and exceptional transient response.
A transformer-coupled output allows the AT5047 to maintain a constant load output impedance.
